About Killaloe Friendship Club

The Killaloe & District Senior Friendship Club is a membership-based club where people aged 50+ can participate in social, educational and recreational programming, as well as drop-in activities that help support their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Membership per year is $10.00 and new members are welcome anytime.

“KSFC” in short form, operates solely as a volunteer organization with no paid staff. Established in 1973 as a registered charity, the objective of the club is to create opportunities for social interaction, lifelong learning, and community engagement among Killaloe and area seniors.

The club offers a variety of programs throughout the year. The scope of the programs changes from time to time to match the interests of the members and volunteers. These include monthly member meals, arts and craft classes, workshops, seminars, and a variety of other fun activities.

Getting involved and volunteering at the Club is a rewarding, fun way for seniors to feel valued and connected, by offering friendship to others who are at the same stage in life. We believe that social engagement is important for people's well-being regardless of their age.

The "KSFC" relies on donations, fundraising, and revenue from renting out their space to facilitate the running of the club.
